The Association of Fundraising Professionals North
Central Ohio Chapter will celebrate National Philanthropy Day
(NPD) on November 14. We are also celebrating 20 years of the chapter! NPD
gives all of us the opportunity to show appreciation for the many
accomplishments that have been made in the name of giving, as well as to
show that there is still more to do. It’s our chance to step into the
spotlight for a brief moment and remind our communities, our society,
and the world that the spirit of giving is alive and well.
The NPD Committee is seeking nominations for awards to
be presented this year. This is an incredible way to honor an individual
or organization that has made a significant contribution to your
organization. What a great way to say “thank you!”
You must be a member of the AFP North Central Ohio
Chapter to submit a nomination, and only one nomination can be accepted
per AFP Member.
We ask that you discuss this nomination with the
nominee(s) to ensure that they will be available to attend the awards
ceremony in November. As the nominator, there will be assistance needed
from you if your nominee is selected.
Thank you for your continued support of the
Association of Fundraising Professionals and your commitment to
philanthropy in North Central Ohio.
Sincerely,

Laura Tinney & Dr. Suzanne Allen
Co-Chairs, National Philanthropy Day Committee
