Partner with AFP to celebrate philanthropy in North Central Ohio!

National Philanthropy Day is a celebration of all forms of philanthropy in our community and the AFP North Central Ohio Chapter encourages our local non-profits to recognize those that make it happen.

Become a sponsor and recognize your organization’s incredible donors and volunteers. Your sponsorship at the Presenting Sponsor and Community Champion levels allows you to list one important donor or volunteer in the NPD program and have them recognized at the NPD luncheon.

MEDIA SPOTLIGHT: In addition to the sponsorship benefits listed below, major sponsors will also be displayed in full-color ads promoting National Philanthropy Day which will appear in the November 13th editions of the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com and The Repository/CantonRep.com.

There are many opportunities to choose from:

  • Presenting Sponsors - $2,500 ($2,100 of this sponsorship is tax-deductible)
    Presenting sponsors will receive exclusive sponsorship of each award including logo recognition in all event materials and on AFPNCOH’s website and a full-page ad in the event program. Presenting sponsors will also receive two tables for 8 guests per table (16 guests total) as well as recognition during the awards ceremony. Includes special recognition of a significant fundraiser/donor to your organization as a "Grand Champion" in the program booklet, on the website, and during a special session of the awards ceremony.
    The following awards are available for sponsorship:

    • Corporate Leadership Award: Circle K

    • Foundation Leadership Award: The Fred A. Lennon Charitable Trust - Sponsored by The University of Akron

    • Outstanding Fundraiser Award: Mary Ann Jackson - Sponsored by Summa Foundation and Brennan Family Foundation

    • Outstanding Philanthropist Award: Dale and Cindy Murphy

    • Children in Philanthropy Award: Samuel Miller

    • Special Recognition Award: Friends of Akron Children's Hospital - Sponsored by Akron Children's Hospital

  • Community Champion Sponsors- $1,500 ($1,300 of this sponsorship is tax-deductible)
    Community Champions will receive one table for 8 guests and a full-page ad in the event program, as well as sponsorship recognition in the program and website. Includes special recognition of a significant fundraiser/donor to your organization as a "Community Champion" in the program booklet, on the website, and during a special session of the awards ceremony.

  • Hometown Hero Sponsors- $1,000 ($800 of this sponsorship is tax-deductible)
    Hometown Heroes will receive one table for 8 guests and a half-page ad in the event program, as well as special sponsorship recognition in the program and on the website.

  • Vanguard Sponsors- $500 ($400 of this sponsorship is tax-deductible)
    Vanguard Sponsors will receive luncheon tickets for 4 guests and a quarter-page ad in the event program, as well as sponsorship recognition in the program and on the website.

  • Program Booklet Advertisements
    Salute an award recipient or promote your organization:

    • Full-page ad (full-color, 8 inches high x 5 inches wide) - $600

    • Half-page ad (full-color, 4 inches high x 5 inches wide) - $300

    • Quarter-page ad (full-color, 4 inches high x 2.25 inches wide) - $150

  • Ticket Reservations

    • Friend tickets - $40 each ($15 of each regular ticket is tax-deductible)

      Patron tickets - $75 each* ($50 of each patron ticket is tax-deductible)

      Tables for eight guests* - $450 ($250 of each table is tax-deductible)

*Table supporters and patrons will be listed in the event program
