About Moe's Restaurant:

Moe Schneider, owner of Moe’s Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls, has a philanthropic philosophy that helps many organizations raise money by providing food at a discounted rate while creating memories for the attendees of the events that she caters. As a member of the Holy Family Parish Development Committee, Moe has helped raise more than $400,000 during the last three years by initiating wine tasting events and a quarterly breakfast series. She is the restaurant chair for the Arthritis Foundation's Red and White fundraiser. Moe is a sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House Golf Outing and has given countless volunteer hours and donated food and services to Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, the Dove program, Akron Civic Theatre, and the Akron Art Museum.

Moe Schneider has worked in the restaurant business since she was 13. When the restaurant was opened in 1998, running her own place was not so much a dream as a calling. "I'm supposed to affect some sort of change," she explains. "Whether it's environmental or whether it's someone that will work with us and we'll make a difference in his life, I don't know. But I feel like this is what I'm supposed to do."
